I created an offline health library resource for the WHO , designed to be used in remote locations whilst making updates where a network is available. The app periodically checks for content updates from a Restful service and caches the complex JSON with CoreData. The app works across a range of languages and handles content according to locale.
After a successful first version of the app, I was responsible for updating it to work universally across all iOS devices and also managing the development of an Android version. This involved employing an Android developer and project managing and assisting him with development.
